We bring you the A-Z of a season that will live long in the memory! A – AmaZulu recorded the most draws in the DStv Premiership with 17 out of their 30 games. That was three short of the record of 20 set by Swallows FC the season before.

H – A total of 11 head coaches at nine different clubs were sacked during the 2021-22 season.

Backpagepix RIGHT-WING: Themba Zwane - 6 The Bafana winger was involved in some good build-ups but never threatened himself and generally had a quiet afternoon. Backpagepix CENTRE-MID: Sphelele Mkhulise - 6 Kept ticking over for Downs and it was his industry which helped the Brazilians create several chances going forward.
Chiefs started on a high as they dominated Chippa. However, their lack of killer instinct let them down yet again. Chippa were the first to find the back of the net in the 30th minute of the match through Lebabalo Letota. Amakhosi leveled the matters five minutes before the break when Mfundo Vilakazi combined with captain Mduduzi Shabalala to crack Chippa's defence. The two sides went to the break tied on 1-1.

U – It is scary to think that all 15 DStv Premiership sides will go into next season as the underdogs against Mamelodi Sundowns, such is the dominance of the Tshwane side!
